Mostly Wordless Wednesday ... Geronimo!

In 1940, the night before their first mass jump, U.S. paratroopers at Fort Benning saw a film about Geronimo, and began shouting his name during jumps, a trend which has caught on elsewhere.

Oh, yes. I can't even tell you what's going on with my body on the way down, but it appears I was trying to take flight somehow. Either that or I'm doing some retarded version of the Karate Kid kick.

Mostly, though, I just posted these photos as a way of showing off my awesome moobs. Well, mine and Chris' (he's the one down there struggling to get across the slippery ravine).

You're very brave.

So what the heck happened to your feet?

Wha'happen? Basically, I was an idiot. I hiked half the day through a river in sandals. This meant a lot of cuts and skin rubbing off my feet and such. And, well, lots of blood and swelling, etc.

It's been a couple weeks and I still have scabs that don't look to be going away anytime soon.

ha, just realized it looks like the bill cosby dance in that sixth one!
some of those pictures are very dynamic with the positions of you and chris and unidentified girl #1, sort of like those tryptic paintings, I think in art history terms its called "the divine triangle". chris looks like a cheribum climbing up to heaven (he'll love that won't he :) )

Ha. Only you'd see that, Plewe. I am forever ever going to call Chris a cheribum, though. He'll never live that down.

As for the Bill Cosby dance, of course that's what I was doing! Ha. Amazing observations.
