Pull this thread as I walk away.

Yes, there have probably been roughly 200 or more Ugly Sweater parties in the past two weeks (and most of them within five miles of my house). Why they exist is beyond me. I don't even recall any happening last year—not one. Still, when you win the whole shebang, based solely on the fact that you have come up with the hands down ugliest of them all, then things shift a little. You warm to the fact that these exist. You become proud of the thing you could literally barely stomach putting on that morning. Your co-working peers revere you for your innate ability to be really, really gross. And your Christmas becomes that much brighter.

Yeah, I totally won. I think it was the shoulderpads that sealed it for me. That or the turtleneck/belly shirt underneath. Still ... how I beat the dude in the mustache and shirtless cardigan is simply beyond me. That guy ruled.

it's the turtleneck that really sets it off.

You OWNED that contest, Dainon. Those were all ugly sweaters, but yours was above and beyond.

Congratulations?

I don't know, I think the guy on the far right is some tough competition...and his is actually a MAN'S sweater.

That bald fellow's sweater is beautiful, not ugly.

I count four bald fellows. Which one you mean?

Hideous, Truely.
Are we going to get a review of Tears of a King. All I have to say for it is. 'it was my addiction to prescription drugs'.

No review. I hated it so much, I had to walk out of it before it was over. Talk about your heavy-handed pieces of cinematic crap. I should have stuck around for the Q & A, though ... there were several things I could have shared. It would have been good, too.

I mean, seriously, were the filmmakers even fans of Elvis? I think not.

This is the first moment I've felt sad about leaving XanGo. We definitely didn't have a sweater party at Sheppard Air Force Base. I'll put it in the suggestion box for next year.
