The Freshmaker.

Tip o' the day: Discovering an In 'n Out burger after running a half marathon is akin to finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I came, I ran, I gorged. Dealing with a couple of sore knees is just that much easier when you've got a cheeseburger in your hands, done up Animal-style. Dee-friggin-licious!

The last time that i ate at a McDonalds was shortly after a bike race 15 years ago. The aftermath was exquisite. But I really hope that you went with the 4x4! I'm having a really hard time visualizing anything resembling rainbows and pots of gold with Laughlin. I blame my last experience staying at the Aquarius.

Glad to hear you ran the race, and In 'n Out? I'm super jealous.

The River Palms is no oasis ... we're in the closest room to the casino that they had, so it sounds like a frat party all night long, with the benefit of hearing golden oldies pumped through the ceiling all night long. Still, hey, it ain't snowin'.

And that one burger prolly replenishes every one of those calories burned by the marathon.. lol.

So the irony is that I moved to Boston in January--I'm so glad to hear Glen and Marketa are doing another tour though.. I'll cross my fingers they hit Mass. See, Explosions in the Sky never came here, oddly, so I can't assume that every Worth Seeing concert is going to pass my way, unfortunately.

(PS - "quite attractive" indeed ;)

Congrats on the race. My theory is this:

There's junk food that's bad for you...chips, Snickers, cookies, etc.

And there's junk food that's good for you: juicy burgers, cheese fries, etc.

You had the kind that's good for you.
