A Tale of Two Stomachs.

Once upon a time there was a sad little girl who very much needed some cheering up: she'd had some heartbreak just happen and had also just turned an age she didn't very much want to be. Lucky for her, she had a good friend, one who had concocted a plan; not only did his plan come with delicacies beyond compare (cheese toast!), it also came with a surprise smile. Several smiles, in fact. He told her to wear something nice (something that went with, oh, heels and her best pair of fancy earrings) and put his best suit on and moved forward with his plan. They were dressed to the nines! They smelled really nice! They both did their hair!

Ah, the stage was set. And, lucky for her, that stage began in the parking lot of the local neighborhood Sizzler. See, her friend had received a coupon attached to his Sunday comics one weekend and he knew it was the answer. He didn't know how ... he just did. It was ESPN or something. And, boy, was she surprised! She smiled and laughed and almost didn't believe her good fortune. That was until he showed her the magic coupon.

With the coupon in hand, both were allowed to dive into juicy 8oz steaks, baked potatoes and famous cheese toast! What's more, there were unlimited trips to the Fresh Fruit and Salad Bar. There was eating and chewing and more eating and happiness. There were smiles and cottage cheese and more cheese toast and laughter. Ah, she was sufficiently cheered up, this girl. She even got to return home with a take-out box filled with leftovers (which are likely still in her refrigerator a whole week later! Mmmm!). And, with that, this tale ends on a happy note.* The End.

*It'd be better if that coupon hadn't have expired yesterday, but still.

Ah, what a night. The waitress was priceless- the food awesome. Too bad it smelled like poopy diaper at one point, but I think it just added to the atmosphere as a whole.

I love your guts.

Oh and you were right, I am stealing a pic for a new profile picture, what can I say- you make me look good.

When in doubt, prescribe meat ... am I right or am I right? Sizzler was her pot o' gold at the end of rainbow, it was. I merely pointed her in the right direction was all.
