I love a rainy day.

Tonight my brother and I strapped on our headlamps and searched the jungle surrounding our hotel in the middle of a heavy rainstorm. We didn't have much of an idea as to what we'd find; while alligators may very well have jumped out of the shadows, fireflies and toads did instead. Not very dangerous, that. Maybe they had the night off, this being the day of rest and alla that? This is why there was a Crocodile Hunter television program and a Crocodile Dundee string of movies. I seriously doubt something along the lines of Toad Tackler would ever do all that well in the ratings.

The rain and thunder and lightning were constants, though. The kind that lasts and lasts and lasts. It's still dripping outside. The thunder was so loud, it set off the car alarms. Can't quite top that, eh? God smiled on this little country by placing a temple here and allowing it to be dedicated this morning, but my general feeling is He's been smiling on this place for quite some time. Everywhere you go, you just can't help but bump into paradise.

but the question is...is it so good you'd stay? or come back for an extended amount of time?

I think I would stay, you know ... but this language barrier is getting to be kindof a hassle. With my brother in tow as my mouthpiece, it´s great, but without him, I sorta wonder how I´d get by. Not ruling it out, mind you, just searching for other ways. I need to take a crash course in Spanish, stat!
